FILMMAKERS from around the globe have entered their movies into a festival in memory of Sidcup murder victim Rob Knox.

The Harry Potter actor was just 18 years old when he was murdered outside the Metro Bar in Station Road in May 2008.

Frank Harper, the director of British Gangster film St George’s Day, is joining regulars including The Bill actor Graham Cole Die Hard 6 scriptwriter Ben Trebilcook to present awards at the Rob Knox Film Festival 2013 in Bexleyheath.

The festival runs from Tuesday, May 29 through to the awards night on Wednesday, June 5 which is being hosted at Cineworld.

Festival director and Head of Production at Pixelform Studios Michael Wearing said: “It is a credit to the local filmmaking community that their films have been selected for screening alongside some very high quality films from around the world."
