AN ARMED robber threatened a shop assistant at knife point in Gravesend this afternoon before making off with a quantity of cash.
Detectives were called to a shop in Stone Street at 3.05pm to reports of a robbery.
After leaving the shop, the offender was chased by a member of the public and the bag was dropped.
The bag, along with some of the items, have since been recovered.
Police say the offender was a white man of a slim build and he was approximately 5ft 11ins tall.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a grey tracksuit.
