A LARGE quantity of cardboard boxes caught fire in Gravesend yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were called at 5.25pm to the burning boxes in Marks Lane.
On arrival at the scene, they also found a shipping container to be alight.
Two fire engines from Thames-side station attended the fire and spent around 90 minutes tackling the flames.
The crews left the scene at 6.50pm.
