A DRIVER dialled 999 moments after hitting a pedestrian in Sidcup last night.
Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Station Road with Longlands Road at 9.45pm to reports of a car hitting a male pedestrian.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening and non life-changing injuries.
One fire engine from Eltham also stopped at the scene of the incident for around eight minutes.
Part of the road was closed while the emergency services attended and police officers directed motorists around the scene of the accident.
