A 52-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murdering his brother at the family home in Eltham.

Mark Hayes will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (April 29) accused of killing 48-year-old Sean Hayes.

Emergency services were called to a house in Eltham Green Road at around 1.40am yesterday and found the victim suffering from stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination took place at Greenwich Mortuary today and gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest and abdomen.

Another man, aged 23, was arrested on suspicion of assault following a separate incident at the location.

He was taken to a south London police station and has since been bailed to return on Tuesday.

A third man, aged 48, was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of violent disorder.

He was taken to a south London police station and has since been bailed to return on May 7 pending further inquiries.
