A 28-YEAR-OLD ExCeLled himself by proposing to his girlfriend on the Greenwich cable car.
Liam Holder took his 30-year-old girlfriend Lisa Creek on the £60m Emirates Air Line to celebrate their fourth anniversary.
And while they were travelling above the Thames, he got down on one knee and proposed in cabin 14.
The High Wycombe couple now plan to marry next year.
Mr Holder explained: "Lisa is the sunshine of my life and I wanted to get as high in the sky as possible with a great view of London and somewhere private.
"The Emirates Air Line could provide that and it's something new that we had not experienced before.
"The staff were lovely and helped me to prepare the cabin with a happy anniversary banner so it had the personal touch."
The cable car links Greenwich peninsula with the ExCeL centre across the river at Emirates Royal Docks.
