Sam in the slope style competition
AN ELTHAM College 12-year-old has skiied his way to victory in a top comeptition.
Year 8 pupil Sam Gaskin is now the under-13 British freestyle champion following his stunning performance at the competition in Tignes.
Along with that trophy, Sam retained his hald pipe title and was also named slope style and ski cross champion.
And he even took part in the open men's finals, getting placed in the top 12.
Headteacher of Eltham College Paul Henderson said "We congratulate Sam on his achievement and support him in his quest to be selected for the Youth Olympics 2016 squad for half pipe."
