TODAY is not a good Friday for travellers with rail journey disruptions across the News Shopper area.

Engineering work over the Easter Break means Southeastern services are reduced with replacement bus services in place and revised train services working to a Sunday timetable .

Track improvements between New Cross and New Beckenham means there are no train services today calling at Catford Bridge, Ladywell, Lewisham, Lower Sydenham, New Cross or St Johns.

Instead, buses will shuttle passengers between the stations as well as a revised train service operating between New Beckenham and Hayes.

Track work between New Cross and Hither Green will see no trains calling at Lewisham, New Cross or St Johns Welling, or between Blackheath and Charlton. Passengers are advised to use DLR between Lewisham and Greenwich or replacement bus services.

The line between Lewisham and Barnehurst is also being serviced and means no train services will call at stations including Bexleyheath, Barnehurst, Welling, Eltham and Kidbrooke with replacement buses running between Charlton and Dartford.

Bromley passengers travelling from Bickley, Bromley South, Shortlands, and St Mary Cray may also suffer the knock-on effects of engineering work between London Blackfriars and Herne Hill.
