BEER from Brockley’s first and finest brewery has hit the boozers.
The Brockley Brewery, in Harcourt Road, has opened for business as the first of its kind in the area.
A launch party at The Talbot, Tyrwhitt Road, saw punters taste the beer for the first time, and at pubs across Lewisham and Southwark.
The company previously announced 12 pubs where it will be sold, with more to come.
They include the Ravensbourne in Lewisham, the Ladywell Tavern, Blackheath's Hare and Billet and the Catford Bridge Tavern.
Just a minute's walk from Brockley station, the new company will have a five barrel plant, producing 180 gallons of hand crafted beer every week.
