POLICE are investigating after a fire broke out at a terraced bungalow in Bean last night.
Three fire engines were called to Stonewood at 7.30pm and spent more than two hours tackling the flames.
No one was injured by the fire and crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, three hose reels, a main jet and a hydrant supply to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is being investigated jointly by Kent Fire and Rescue and Kent Police.
Emergency services left the scene at 9.45pm.
