ORGANISERS of the Hop Farm Festival look set to end months of speculation over the Kent event’s future by announcing the line-up.

The annual summer music festival’s future has been in doubt since September last year when promoter Vince Power’s company, Music Festivals, called in administrators.

However, organisers of the Paddock Wood-based event, which has hosted the likes of Prince, Bob Dylan, Morrissey, The Eagles and Sir Bruce Forsyth, have hinted this year’s line-up could be set to be announced.

A tweet posted yesterday (Mar 22) read: “Howdy Hop Farmers! The wait is almost over! You've been very patient but check in Monday at 9am for details... Have a super weekend!”

Over its five-year history, the festival has grown from a one day event to a three day extravaganza which has attracted thousands of music fans to the Hop Farm venue on the first weekend of July since 2008.
