Snow hits south-east London and north Kent yet again
9:58am Saturday 23rd March 2013 in News By Sam Christie
Tailbacks in Queensway, Petts Wood, following crash this morning
SNOW has been falling across parts of south-east London and north Kent today.
The big freeze which has hit parts of the UK in recent days have moved south overnight and is expected to last all weekend.
Temperatures plunged below freezing during the early hours and the Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the south-east of England for today and tomorrow.
A crash in Petts Wood this morning caused tailbacks along Queensway. The collision happened at shortly after 8.45am, next to the mini-roundabout.
Southeastern is currently reporting no major delays or cancellations to services in and around the capital but the snow has made for difficult driving conditions.
