Family run Crayford business donates Easter gifts to hospital children's ward
9:02am Thursday 21st March 2013 in News By Alan Woods
A FAMILY run business in Crayford has donated more than 50 Easter eggs to a children’s ward at Darent Valley Hospital.
Office supplies firm Nico Office Ltd, which is based in Maiden Lane, raised the money by collecting and recycling toner and inkjet cartridges from businesses across Bexley and north Kent.
The money was then used to buy a collection of Easter eggs, soft Easter bunnies as well as art and craft sets for children spending Easter in the hospital’s Willow Ward.
Mother-of-two Sarah Hori, who works at the firm, said: “We wanted to give a little bit back.
“We took over lots of bits to make Easter a little bit nicer for the children whilst they’re in hospital.”
The company has been donating to Darent Valley at Easter and Christmas for 19 years now.
