Dominic Canty is launching his debut novel Dead Men Should Know Better in Beckenham next Tuesday.
AN AUTHOR from Bromley is launching his first novel at a Beckenham book store next week.
Dominic Canty, 44, of Westwood Hill, Sydenham, is the literary mind behind spy thriller Dead Men Should Know Better, and will be appearing at Beckenham Book Shop next Tuesday.
The book is about the trials and tribulations of MI6 IT geek Bristo Trabant, who is ordered to keep tabs on notorious arms trafficker 'Gunboat' Charlie Chavez.
Mr Canty said: "I am very excited about the launch - it has been a very long journey.
"It has been very hard work, I have been to all the locations that I feature in the book - Panama, Cannes, Vienna.
"I have put a lot into it and have made it as good as it can be so I am very proud of it."
The launch of Dead Men Should Know Better will be at Beckenham Book Shop, Beckenham High Street, at 6.30pm on Tuesday March 26.
