Swanley pile-up leaves young motorcyclist in hospital

A 25-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars and a motorbike in Swanley.

Police and ambulance staff were called to Maidstone Road at 8.20am on Monday following the collision.

The motorcyclist, who was riding a white Honda CBR 125, suffered abdominal and pelvic injuries and was taken by ambulance to King’s College Hospital.

A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said the man was conscious en route to hospital.

The air ambulance was also called to the scene and landed in a field nearby but was not needed.
