Network Rail engineering works over Easter period
12:20pm Tuesday 19th March 2013 in News By Robert Fisk
SOUTHEASTERN is advising passengers travelling this Easter to plan ahead as Network Rail is planning to do engineering works over the four day break.
The works will be carried out between London Bridge, Lewisham, Kidbrooke and Hither Green; London Blackfriars and Herne Hill; and between Rochester and Rainham.
Southeastern services running through these areas will be replaced by buses or diverted to and from London Victoria.
For passengers travelling on the Hayes line, Southeastern has arranged a shuttle bus service to operate via New Beckenham and Beckenham Junction to London Victoria.
Valid tickets will also be accepted on London Underground tube stations, and on the DLR at Lewisham and Greenwich.
