Downham man remanded in custody over his nephew's murder

AN UNCLE suspected of murdering his three-year-old nephew has been remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at the Old Bailey in June.
Ben Igbinedion, of Darent House in Brangbourne Road, is accused of murdering Daniel Evbuomwan at the property in Downham.
The 43-year-old appeared at the Old Bailey last Tuesday (March 12) and is next set to appear on June 14.
Daniel died at Lewisham Hospital on March 2.
Police have also arrested two women, aged 34 and 28, in connection with the investigation.
The 34-year-old woman has been subsequently released and police are taking no further action while the 28-year-old has been bailed to return pending further inquiries.
