TIME is running out to nominate a Bromley carer for a £1,000 prize.
News Shopper and Petts Wood Pharmacy in Queensway have joined forces to create the Carers Award, highlighting the importance of those who provide unpaid support.
There is just over a week left to nominate someone as entries must be in by March 22.
The carer must be unpaid and care for someone who, due to disability, illness or frailness, is unable to live in their own home without help.
They can be any age and can live with or apart from the person they care for.
A judging panel will pick the winner and the prize will be presented at an awards ceremony in Petts Wood.
