Eltham College choir runners-up in National Schools Choir Competition
A CHOIR from Eltham College were named runners-up in a national singing competition featuring 300 schools.
The Barbican played host to the National Schools Choir Competition organised by Barnardo's on March 4.
It same Eltham College's Junior School choir finished overall as national runners-up while the Senior School were also finalists in their age group.
Headteacher of the Grove Park Road college Paul Henderson said: "To be selected for the finals was an impressive achievement in itself.
"Going on to be placed second nationally is tremendous and testimony to the boys’ hard work."
