Jack Bowker dies in hospital after Downham moped crash

A TEENAGER has died after being fatally injured in a crash while on a moped in Downham.

Jack Bowker was travelling along Warren Avenue in Downham when he collided with a parked car at around 2.50pm on Sunday afternoon.

The 17-year-old was taken to Kings College Hospital suffering from severe head injuries and died there last night.

Friends have been paying tribute to the teenager, who is believed to be a former Ravensbourne School pupil.

A Bromley police spokesman says there is nothing to suggest the moped was stolen.
