M25 road rage killer Kenneth Noye is appealing to get his sentence reduced
ROAD rage killer Kenneth Noye is to launch his latest bid to get his sentence reduced.
Noye was jailed for life at the Old Bailey in 2000 for murdering 21-year-old Stephen Cameron at the M25 Swanley slip-road in 1996.
He had stabbed Mr Cameron, who grew up in Beachenlea, Swanley, in front of his 17-year-old fiancee.
Sixty-five-year-old Noye, who was born in Bexleyheath, denied murder on the grounds of self-defence and fled to Spain after the stabbing but was extradited in 1998.
In 2001 and 2011, he lost appeals against his conviction and is now seeking leave to renew his challenge to the 16-year minimum term he must serve.
The case will be heard at the Court of Appeal by the Lord Chief Justice Lord Judge, Mr Justice Mackay and Mr Justice Sweeney.
