Shamed former Plumstead officer PC Ian Scouler admits two more thefts
A SHAMED police officer who was jailed after pocketing £400 of Met cash has admitted two more thefts.
Former Plumstead officer PC Ian Scouler was sentenced to 12 months in prison last November after being caught on camera stealing during a sting operation.
But the 46-year-old, of Borough Green, Kent, was back in court last week to plead guilty to two further counts of theft.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on March 7 and admitted stealing an iPhone and Blackberry while employed by the Met on May 28 2010 and October 28 2010.
Scouler is currently on unconditional bail and is due back in court for sentencing on March 28.
