4:47pm Thursday 7th March 2013 in News By Tim MacFarlan, Bexley and north Kent reporter
A BEXLEY charity is to benefit from a slice of generosity thanks to Domino’s Pizza.
The chain’s outlets in Bexley Road, Erith, Upper Wickham Lane, Welling and Gallions Reach in Thamesmead are running a special weekend promotion in aid of the Bexley Moorings Project from Thursday, March 14 to Sunday, March 17.
All pizzas will be available for £9.99 when delivered with 50p from all pizza sales going to the charity which helps support vulnerable young people aged eight to 17.
These young people might be experiencing emotional deprivation; physical, emotional or sexual abuse; social isolation; bullying or the effects of a dysfunctional family life.
Manga Dhillon, franchisee of the three Domino’s stores, said: "We hope that we’ll be able to raise a substantial amount for this incredibly worthy charity.
"We pride ourselves on supporting the local community and hope that our contribution will help to make a real difference."
