GREENWICH shoppers spend around eight pounds more on average than Lewisham residents on Mother’s Day presents.
A survey by beauty retailer Escentual.com revealed while Greenwich residents splashed out around £35 on gifts for this Sunday (March 10) - the same as the London average - those in Lewisham only spent £27.
Westminster was shown to have the most pampered mums with the average present costing more than £56 while Redbridge came in bottom of the league table, with only £20 being spent.
The company’s bestselling product for Mother’s Day is currently the Crabtree and Evelyn Happy Hands Gift Set.
