AN INQUEST has begun into the death of a 14-year-old boy in Gravesend in 2009.
Paramedics were called to an address in Parrock Street at around noon on November 20 where Edward Barry was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination the following day found a fatal level of methadone and traces of diazapam in the Gravesend Grammar School pupil's body.
This afternoon Coroner Roger Hatch oversaw the swearing in of a jury of six women and five men at Gravesend Town Hall.
The inquest continues.
