COMMUNITY groups are wanted to take over the management of the Howbury Community Facility and Slade Green library.

A part of Bexley Council’s £8.5 million Slade Green Regeneration Project, the new facility is due to open its doors in June next year.

New facilities will include a large hall, an outside games area, a community library featuring an IT suite as well as a smaller hall, four further rooms and a kitchen.

The new Slade Green library will include a multi-use area, a computer suite, a children’s library, a study space and a meeting room.

Bexley Council is keen to hear from community groups or organisations interesting in running the entire facility, including the library, or just the community facility.

Interested parties should register and interest with Kevin Taylor on 07815 879404 by March 25.
