ROADWORKS are causing traffic misery for drivers in Petts Wood.

Cars have been queued bumper to bumper along Towncourt Lane where work is set to continue until Tuesday (February 26).

Motorists are set to face yet more disruption from next Monday, when four days of further road re-surfacing works will take place in Queensway, from the junction of Crescent Drive to Town Court Lane.

I got stuck in it yesterday, even early afternoon it took at least half an hour to get from the corner (outside News Shopper building!) to Tudor Way

If they'd given advance warning I could have gone a different way

Have a look at the roadworks between Petts Wood and Chislehurst on St Paul's Cray Road during morning / afternoon peaks - not too bad this week being half term but last week was grim, traffic back to Petts Wood / through Chislehurst...

Typical - roadworks in one area, then more on alternative route

What happened to coordinaton ?
