Sydenham man Ian Bent is missing after being taken to Lewisham Hospital

POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man who has not been seen since they took him to Lewisham Hospital on Sunday.

Ian Bent was taken to the hospital by officers after they found him at his home in Burghill Road, Sydenham.

But once the police left the scene Mr Bent left the hospital and has not been seen since around 9pm that day.

The 41-year-old man is described as black, 6ft tall, of medium build with black eyes and black afro hair (going slightly grey).

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jacket, brown shoes and black trousers with a woolly hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the missing persons unit on 020 8284 5000 (during office hours 7am to 5pm) or 101 out of hours or Missing People on 116000.
