A WOMAN has been charged with the murder of Kevin McKinley who was shot dead in a Dartford street on Tuesday night.
Detectives were today (Friday) given extra time to quiz two suspects in connection with the shooting and this evening Michaela Sargeant, 24, of Overy Street, was charged with his murder.
Twenty-five year-old Lewis Wickenden, also of Overy Street and believed to be her partner, has been charged with possessing a firearm, possessing ammunition and assisting an offender.
The pair are due to appear via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court tomorrow. (Sat)
Emergency services were called to Fulwich Road at shortly before 8pm on Tuesday and found the 32-year-old with a gunshot wound.
The victim had gone into cardiac arrest and was treated by ambulance staff at the scene before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital where he died of his injuries.
