FORGET Leicester, Richard III has been found in a car park in Gravesend.

The son of York hammed it up in the town centre car park to promote a special version of Shakespeare’s play in the open air this summer.

Director of The Changeling theatre group Rob Forknall donned a royal costume in a space marked ‘R’ in advance of the group’s gothic version of the classic set for performances on July 30 and August 8.

In a world of murder, plots and intrigues, Richard III will include original new music, an ensemble cast and a special directorial twist.

Tickets for the production at Nurstead Court are on sale from the Woodville Box Office priced at £17 for adults and £13.50 for the over 60s.

Call the box office on 01474 337774.
