Bromley girls cricket team will play at Lord's next month.
TEAM Bromley have secured a place in the London Youth Games Indoor Cricket Finals at Lord's next month.
The girls earned the place after topping the group stages at the qualifiers over the weekend.
The team of seven, aged between 10 and 13, is selected from a range of Bromley schools via Bromley District Cricket Coaching.
The finals will be on Sunday March 3.
Team manager Mike Askew said: "I expected the girls to do well because they have been working very hard.
"We have had a lot of training sessions and we have got some good cricketers there.
"We got to the final by playing very good cricket and we would like to win it obviously."
The boys narrowly missed out on a place in the final the previous week.
