Abbey Wood woman, 78, with dementia missing in Peckham

A 78-YEAR-OLD Abbey Wood woman suffering from dementia has gone missing in Peckham, prompting a police appeal.

Joyce Nelson, was last seen yesterday (Feb 11) at around 7pm getting on a 171 bus in Queen's Road Peckham, next to the Queen's Road Railway station. The bus was heading towards Holborn.

She is described as black, 5ft 7in and of slim build. When last seen she was wearing a long light brown coat with a green scarf and, possibly, a straw hat.

Ms Nelson suffers from dementia and may be confused.

Officers and her family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information should call Greenwich CID on 020 8284  9445/ 9554.
