A TEENAGER was dragged through woodland before being told she was going to be killed, a court heard.

Levi Eastwood, of Sole Street in Meopham, viciously attacked his 18-year-old girlfriend on July 14 last year.

The pair split up after Eastwood was arrested for earlier assaulting her but when the pair met to formally end their relationship, the 20-year-old lost his temper.

High on cocaine, he repeatedly hit and kicked the victim and pulled out her hair extensions before dragging her to a remote woodland cabin.

There, he told her: “You don’t have long to live, I’ve brought you here to kill you.”

Eastwood pleaded guilty to assault causing ABH, false imprisonment and two common assault charges at Maidstone Crown Court.

He was sentenced to three years in a young offenders’ institute on February 4.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Steve Dingwall said: “This was a nasty, deliberate and cold-blooded attack on a vulnerable young woman.”
