ONLINE reports of a three-year-old boy missing from Bromley High Street have been downplayed by police.

Rumours of the incident started circulating at around 2pm with one Facebook group reporting the child had gone missing from outside Marks & Spencer.

But a Bromley police spokesman says they have received no reports of any children going missing today.

If a boy did go missing it is thought he was returned to his parents quickly so there was no need to involve the police in a search.
