GRAVESEND residents can check their tickers are in working order with a free heart health check on February 16.
NHS teams will check blood pressure, body mass index and cholesterol levels and west Kent residents aged 40 to 74 can get a full health check assessing their risk of developing heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.
The roadshow is from 10am to 3pm at Community Square outside Woodville Halls with staff from Community Health NHS Trust, Salveo pharmacies and Gravesham Council.
Lucy Rumbellow, health checks programme manager at Kent Community Health NHS Trust, said: "This is a great opportunity for anyone with a nagging concern about their health who hasn’t found the time to see their GP to pop along and get peace of mind.
"If there is a problem, we can make sure they get the right help and support to stay well.
"You don’t need an invitation, just come and see us."
