A BEXLEYHEATH girls school has kept the Olympic feel-good factor going with a special exhibition.
Townley Grammar School welcomed back former pupil and GB Olympic weightlifter Zoe Smith to open a show of 20 photos of the Olympic venues by part-time arts technician Celine Barsley.
Guests at the invitation-only bash were serenaded by three pupils who performed at the opening ceremony with the London Symphony Orchestra: Triveni Lall, 14, on flute; 14-year-old Ellis Lusted on clarinet and bassoon player Lilinaz Evans, aged 15.
The Townley Road school displayed the special outfit worn by Year 10 pupil Rosie Jones, 15, when she carried the Olympic flame through Ashford in the run-up to the games.
Zoe's Mum Nicky Smith said: "I am so proud of my daughter Zoe and what she's achieved
"It was a very good evening.
"The exhibition artwork is fabulous and it really stood out."
The exhibition at the Townley Contemporary Gallery runs until March 21 with visits by appointment only during school hours.
