A PLUMSTEAD headmistress at an independent Christian primary school has been charged with assaulting a 10-year-old pupil.
Rally Ikiebe, aged 49, of Wrottesley Road, was charged yesterday (January 29) with an offence of actual bodily harm alleged to have taken place on January 17 last year.
Ikiebe runs and set up the Chrysolyte Independent Christian School in Southwark.
The school's website describes its mission statement as providing a service for parents "who wish their child to be educated not only academically but also spiritually according to God's word".
She will appear on bail at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on February 12.
