THE children of Darrick Wood Infant School have raised over £500 for the Children's Ward of the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), Farnborough.
£544 was donated by the families of the children - aged between 3 and 7 - at their Christmas performances at the end of last year.
It was used to buy items on a 'wish list', which included DVDs, portable DVD players, art materials and games.
An assembly took place on Monday 21 January to hand the items over to staff members from the PRUH.
Deputy Head of Darrick Wood Infant School Vicky Buckland, 41, said: "It was so generous of the parents to donate this money, especially in these difficult times.
"I am so impressed with how the families have all rallied and given the children at the PRUH this wonderful gift."
