Gravesend police helicopter chase: Two in custody on suspicion of affray

TWO men are in custody following a helicopter chase in Gravesend early this morning.
Police were called at 11.50pm last night (January 27) to reports of an altercation at a shop in Elliott Street.
One man is thought to have threatened a shop assistant after being refused service before fleeing with an accomplice to gardens near Denton Street.
A police helicopter and dog unit were called to assist with the pursuit and the two suspects were in custody by 1.10am.
The scene was cleared by 3.30am and the men are being held on suspicion of affray.
