And the Met Office has issued weather warnings for snow and ice.

Tonight there may be some isolated sleet or snow showers although it is expected to be largely dry, with a minimum temperature of -7C.

Tomorrow (January 23) it will be mainly dry with some bright intervals and there will be widespread ice on untreated surfaces.

The maximum temperature will be 2C.
