A 25-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear in court this morning after a man allegedly had chemicals thrown in his face before being stabbed in the back with a fork at a Gravesend restaurant.
Dean Mayze, of High Street, Strood, is expected to enter a plea when he appears in Court 8 at Maidstone Crown Court.
He has been charged with grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm and has been remanded in custody since November 7 last year.
Police were called by ambulance staff just after 6pm on November 4 to The Copperfield, in Gravesend Road.
It is alleged that a 26-year-old Gravesend man had a liquid substance sprayed in his face before being stabbed in the back with a fork.
