Olympic hero Sir Chris Hoy visits Gravesend

Cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy waves for the camera in Gravesend
CYCLING fanatics had the chance to meet and ride alongside Olympic gold medalist Sir Chris Hoy in Gravesend.
The 11-time world champion, six-time Olympic champion and a winner of seven Olympic medals visited Cyclopark on Wednesday. (Jan 16)
Sir Chris, who showcased his new brand of Hoy Bikes at the Wrotham Road park, praised the circuit.
He said: “It was perfect for our testing with plenty of twists and turns to get a feel for the bikes handling, short climbs and long straights to really push it."
He later took to Twitter to say: "Thanks to everyone who braved the freezing conditions & came down to Cyclopark in Kent today, amazing turnout and a brilliant facility".
