A PREMIERSHIP football star has been tackling questions from pupils at his old school.

Michael Turner, who plays for Norwich City, returned to Crown Woods College, Eltham, where he studied in the 1990s.

The defender - who met his future wife when he was a Crown Woods pupil - was quizzed by students about the life of a Premiership footballer.

Head of learning Steve Sallis said: "Sometimes premiership footballers get bad press for their off the field antics.

"But they fully support the school whenever possible and Michael is even donating a full football kit to pupils next month.

"I cannot speak more highly of Michael and his wife Jo. They help their former school in every way possible. We are very grateful."
