2:11pm Thursday 17th January 2013 in News By Alan Woods
Cemetery Lodge in Banks Lane, Bexleyheath.
A BUILDING formally used to house Bexley Council staff is due to go under the hammer at an auction next month.
With a guide price of between £190,000 and £200,000, four-room Cemetery Lodge in Banks Lane has been disposed of by the council and has planning permission to be used as an independent dwelling.
Also up for auction is a parcel of land in what is described by the auctioneer as “one of the best roads in Bexleyheath.”
Currently home to domestic garages, the lot of land in Freta Road already has planning permission for a four-bedroom house and is valued at between £155,000 and £160,000.
The auction, which is being arranged by Clive Emson Auctioneers, will be held at the Kent County Showground in Maidstone on February 4.
