A MAN arrested in Farnborough has appeared in court charged with murdering his girlfriend.
Felipe Lopes, aged 27, of James Boswell Close, in Streatham, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on January 12 and at the Old Bailey today (Jan 15) charged with the murder of Anastasia Voykina.
The body of the 23-year-old was discovered in a flat in James Boswell Close, at around 2am on January 8.
A post-mortem examination gave the Russian national's cause of death as multiple fractures to the face, head and neck caused by blunt trauma.
Police said Miss Voykina last spoke to her family on December 30 last year and this is believed to be the last known contact anyone had with her.
Lopes was arrested on suspicion of murder in Farnborough at 2.30am on January 9 and was charged on January 11.
