TWO men from Abbey Wood and Welling have been charged after a cash box was snatched from a delivery driver outside a post office.
Oladapo Awomosu, aged 23, of Burns Close in Welling and Jack Knight, aged 24, of Willsbridge Court in Abbey Wood, were charged with robbery after police were called to an incident in Bermondsey.
Officers were called to the post office in Southwark Park Road shortly after midday on January 4.
Although the suspects fled from the scene, Awomosu and Knight were two of three men arrested later the same day.
Matthew Read, aged 30, from Peckham was also arrested and faces the same charge.
No pleas have been entered by the three men.
They appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on January 5 and were remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on March 25.
