Giant model railway exhibition to be held in Thamesmead

A GIANT model railway exhibition boasting more than 80 different stands is to be held in Thamesmead for the second consecutive year.

Erith Model Railway Society will stage the exhibition on January 26 and 27 at Bexley Business Academy, in Yarnton Way.

This year, there will be more than 25 different model railway layouts on display as well as modeling demonstrations and static model displays.

A wide selection of model railway accessories will also be on sale including tools and components, scenic products and transport books.

The exhibition opens at 10am on both days, closing at 5pm on January 26 and 4pm on January 27.

Entry prices are £6 for adults, £5 for concessions and £3 for children aged between five and 16 – children under five go free.

A family ticket is also available for £15, including a programme.
