CHRISTMAS tree recycling sites will be open across Bromley next weekend (January 12 and 13).

They are for the use of Bromley residents and are free to anyone who takes their waste permit or utility bill to show proof of address.

In Beckenham trees and other garden waste can be disposed off at Unicorn Primary School in Creswell Drive and in Biggin Hill at Charles Darwin School in Jail Lane.

There is a site at the Hook Farm Road entrance of Norman Park in Bromley and people can drop off trees at the salt depot in Shire Lane spur off Sevenoaks Road, Green Street Green.

And in St Paul’s Cray the Cotmandene Crescent car park is a tree recycling site.

The sites are open on Saturday from 11am to 4pm and from 8am to noon on Sunday.

No green garden waste can be accepted outside these times.
