Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice in Abbey Wood seeks volunteers

A HOSPICE for people with life-limiting illnesses is calling for volunteers to join its team.
Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice on Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, has supported 2,500 people and their families, friends and carers in the two boroughs over the last year.
Volunteers manager at the hospice Vanessa Hill said: "Our volunteers make a big difference to the quality of life of people who have a life-limiting illness," said . "We have all sorts of volunteer roles, with something to suit all abilities and availabilities."
The charity has a dedicated team of over 500 volunteers working in a variety of roles from charity shop work and fund-raising to working directly with patients and their families.
