Eltham teacher from Lee school faces trial over child sex assault charges

AN Eltham teacher from a school in Lee will face trial later this year over claims he sexually assaulted two boys.
Peter Donoghue, aged 52, of Avery Hill Road, was arrested on May 30 following the alleged incident at an educational camp at Windmill Hill, near Herstmonceux in East Sussex.
He was charged last year by Sussex Police with two counts of sexual assault by touching.
Donoghue appeared at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court on January 2 to face the charges.
He was granted conditional bail and is now due to face trial on March 1 at Lewes Crown Court.
